12 of UTEP basketball’s 14 road games to be televised

UTEP basketball fans will have the chance to follow the Miners on the road this season with 12 of the team’ 14 away games being shown on TV.

The American Sports Network (ASN) will carry UTEP’s games at NM State (Dec. 6/7 p.m. MT), North Texas (Jan. 2/6 p.m. MT), Rice (Jan. 4/1:30 p.m. MT), UTSA (Jan. 17/1 p.m. MT), Marshall (Jan. 24/1 p.m. MT), Florida Atlantic (Feb. 5/6 p.m. MT) and FIU (Feb. 7/3:30 p.m. MT).

All three of UTEP’s games in the Wooden Legacy tournament (Nov. 27-30) will be shown on ESPN networks, starting with the opener versus Princeton on ESPNU Dec. 27 (noon MT).

Fox Sports Networks (FSN) will have coverage of UTEP’s matchup with Western Kentucky on Jan. 22 (7 p.m. MT). Fox Sports 1 will beam the Miners’ game at Louisiana Tech on Feb. 26 (6 p.m. MT) to a national audience.

There’s a possibility more games will be televised.
