The Salvation Army Red Kettle Run

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- This morning The Salvation Army hosted its Annual Red Kettle Run at Braden Aboud Memorial Park in West El Paso.

The family-friendly race brought participants together to support neighbors facing hardship during the holiday season.

Each $35 race entry helps The Salvation Army purchase one turkey for a family in need.

This holiday season, the organization aims to provide 400 turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas while supporting more than 300 families at Christmas with toys, clothing and a turkey.
