Man accused of raping wheelchair-bound woman at Las Cruces senior center says sex was consensual

ABC-7 has obtained the statement of facts to the case of an alleged rape of a woman in a wheelchair living at a Las Cruces senior center.

According to the document, 25-year-old Peter Dillon Lucero, who is charged with the crime, says the sex was consensual.

Lucero says in the document that it was the 50-year-old woman who approached him.

The statement of facts states Lucero says he was visiting a relative at the Good Samaritan Society Center.

The document states Lucero went into the woman’s room, raped her, and a nurse later found her on the floor.

According to the document, the woman told a nurse she couldn’t remember what happened.
