El Paso Police release name of man stabbed Easter Sunday; no arrests made in attack

El Paso Police have released the name of the man stabbed Sunday night in North-Central El Paso.

Police say 23-year old Alfredo Carmona was stabbed in the stomach during a fight with one other person.

It happened near the intersection of Lackland and Van Buren.

Carmona’s friends reportedly took him to a convenience store several blocks away on Alabama.

He was then taken to University Medical Center where he remained as of Wednesday.

No arrests have been made in the attack.
