Traffic light destroyed in overnight crash

A traffic light was knocked down early Thursday morning during a car crash in Northeast El Paso.

The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of McCombs and Wren.

When police arrived, they found that the driver of a four-door Ford crashed had knocked the pole into the street. The driver was not seriously injured.

Northbound traffic on McCombs was blocked off for a few hours, but police tell ABC-7 the intersection should be clear for the morning commute.
