Man barges into elderly couple’s home; assaults, robs 91-year-old

Police are looking for a man who barged into the home of an elderly couple as they were entering their home and robbed them.

Investigators say the husband and wife, 91 and 88 years-old, were on their morning walk at 5:30 Tuesday morning when a man began following them.

When they got to their home on the 1600 block of Dede Lane in west El Paso, police say they opened the garage door and the suspect, described only as a black man, went inside the home.

Once inside, investigators say the man assaulted the 91-year-old man, took money and ran away.
