UTEP Women’s Soccer team notches first win of season

UTEP was looking to get it’s first win of the season Sunday afternoon against Abilene Christian at University Field.

And they did just that. Just 10 minutes into the first half, Carleigh Simmons set up the cross into the box and Angela Cutaia rushed in and headed the ball into the back of the net.

The Miners won their first game of the season 1-0, and are now 1-1 overall. They take on Houston Baptist on the 28th.
