Scott Weiland to perform in El Paso next month
Scott Weiland, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, will perform a free show in El Paso next month.
He and his band, The Wiladabouts, will play Nov. 7 at Speaking Rock but it was not immediately clear if the concert would be at the location on Pueblo Road or at the Socorro Entertainment Center.
Weiland’s official website and Facebook page state the show is at the Pueblo Road location but big-name concerts are usually held at the Socorro Entertainment Center.
Speaking Rock’s production manager Scott Brown told ABC-7 it is an 18-and-older show.
Weiland and his band are touring in support of his latest album, “Blaster,” which was released in March.
