One person seriously injured after crashing into pole
One person was hospitalized early Monday morning after crashing into a light pole.
The accident was reported around 2 a.m. on Gateway west near Lee Trevino Drive.
The driver was taken to Del Sol Medical Center with serious injuries.
Authorities said it’s unclear how the driver lost control. The victim crashed into a light pole that landed in the middle of Gateway West.
Police had to shut down the intersection to clear the pole in time morning commuters.
No other vehicles were involved.
