UTEP wins clothing recycling contest

something to tell you. you woooonnnn!!!” h&m surprised a utep student with a scholarship… 5 laptops for teammates… and other prizes … for winning a national competion to collect old clothing to recycle! take a look at this video. in all — the utep students collected about 23- thousand pounds of used clothing, which is still in el paso. utep beat 49 other schools in the “close the loo college cup” across campus: vanessa diaz: “we just had to collect clothing items. the goal was 4- thousand items. but we collected well over 20- thousand.” congratulations to vanessa and her team and thanks to all the schools that participated. together, they recycled nearly 1 million pounds of clothing! still ahead on the borderland’s only
