NC Zoo’s Riley the lion hits an astounding 20 years old

ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The lions are some of the most popular animals at the North Carolina Zoo.

Guests are especially impressed with the massive male lion Riley.

What many don’t know is how rare Riley is. He just turned 20 years old this year.

Shannon Smith explains why that is such a big deal in this Zoo Filez.
