tonight. heavy snow of 8 to 12 inches is possible in the mountains above 6000 feet tonight through tomorrow. a rain snow mix will be possible over the lowlands by friday morning. showers will taper off and end by early evening. dry and much colder temperatures will occur for the weekend and first part of next week. another weak storm system will move through the area on sunday with light snow made with the miners. officials say none of the miners are injured. crews have been able to get heat packs and blankets to trapped workers while they await rescue. el paso police are asking for the public’s help in solving an unsolved murder case. forty-one year-old william john wolff was found dead in northeast el paso at about 5 p-m on saturday december 5th. wolff’s body was found on the four thousand block of skyline … next to u-s 54. his body was discovered at his brother’s heavily- gated law office … crime stoppers of el paso coordinator javier sambrano told abc-7— police believe wolff was shot sometime between 4 and 5 p-m that day, which would have been in broad daylight. el paso police to believe someone must have seen something that could help them solve this case. if you have any information on this murder, call crime stoppers at 5-6-6 … tips, or 5-6 … 8-4-7. las cruces police say they need your help finding a missing 13-year-old girl. police believe the girl, jennifer tankesly, ran away from home earlier this week and could be in danger. this is a picture of jennifer. she was last seen on sunday night when she left her las cruces home. as you can see, she has brown hair and eyes… she’s described as being 5-feet-3-inches tall, and weighs around 120 pounds. if you’ve seen her or know where she might be, you’re asked to call police at 575-526-0795. another missing person in new mexico. las cruces police are looking for 63-year-old trinidad alcantar. he’s been missing from his las cruces home since 2007 when police say he walked away from home. several attempts to find alcantar have come up empty, but now a relative says he may be residing in or around deming. las cruces crime stoppers is offering a reward for information on his location — $1- thousand-dollars. anyone with any information can call 1-800-222-tips. now it’s time to take a look at the tx-dot traffic cams… new this morning– if you were hoping to hit the powerball jackpot–
