NMSU Hoops: Lou Henson Day is Jan. 30th

Dona Ana County commissioners voted unanimously to make January 30th “Lou Henson Day.”

Henson coached the Aggies to their only Final Four appearance in 1970.

Last year, he was inducted into College Basketball Hall of Fame.

Lou Henson Day will coincide with the Lou Henson Classic, which features NMSU and UT-Rio Grande Valley. Tip-off is set for Saturday night at 7PM.
