County Sportspark project moving along quickly

The County’s public works director says that the first phase of the restarted renovations are essentially done meaning that it will be ready for tee-ball season.

Phase one also includes finishing the drainage systems, administration building, and ada-accessible parking.

Commissioners have been getting regular updates on the project’s progress, and were visibly excited at this report.

Phase 2 includes work on the clubhouse and concession area inside and out.
It is nearing completion as well.

The county says the work over-all is ahead of the revised schedule and within the budget.
