Regional Semifinals Preview: KVIA.com will stream Burges, Andress games

El Paso hadn’t had two teams in the same classification advance to the regional semifinals since 2010.

That all changed yesterday when Andress and Burges both won their third round games to advance to the 5A final 16.

In addition to the two 5A teams advancing, Anthony dominated its third round matchup against Smyer in 2A to advance themselves. Anthony will play Stratford on Friday night for a spot in the 2A regional finals.

KVIA.com will be streaming two of the three regional semifinal games.

On Friday, KVIA.com will first stream the Andress vs. Wichita Falls Rider matchup beginning at 3 p.m. M.T., followed immediately by coverage of the Burges vs. Fort Worth Dunbar clash. The current approximate tip-off time for Burges vs. Fort Worth Dunbar is 5 p.m. M.T.

Both games take place in Snyder, TX. If either team wins on Friday, KVIA.com will then stream that team’s regional final game, set to take place on Saturday, March 5th. If both teams win, they will meet in the regional final game.
