Man killed in crash on Doniphan identified

UPDATE: The man killed in a crash Thursday morning on Doniphan has been identified. El Paso Sheriff’s officials said Homero Pinon, 51, was driving a Toyota Camry when for an unknown reason he crashed into a Ford F-150.

Pinon was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner’s office. The investigation continues.

ORIGINAL: A crash near Anthony, Texas has left one person dead and two others injured.

This happened Thursday morning around 11:30 on the 9000 block of Doniphan. A spokesperson for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said a Ford F-150 was traveling south on Doniphan when for an unknown reason, a Toyota Camry invaded the left lanes of Doniphan and struck the truck.

One man was killed, while two others were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The man killed has not been identified.

Special Traffic Investigators along with Crime Scene Investigators were called to assist EPSO in the investigation.
