UTEP survives overtime thriller
Conference USA regular season champion and No. 1 seed UTEP (25-3) opened play at the 2016 C-USA Tournament versus #8 seed UAB (16-15) in the quarterfinals Thursday morning.
UTEP moves on with a 62-59 overtime escape against UAB. The win was extra special with Coach Keitha Adams celebrating a milestore. Adams got her 400 career win.
UTEP was lead by Jenzel Nash with 11 points and Starr Breedlove with 10 pionts.
The Miners play Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama. The time and team TBA.
