UTEP Men fall to Marshall 87-85 in final seconds

Despite a double-double performance by Terry Winn (21 points and 11 rebounds), The Miners fell to Marshall 87-85 in the final seconds of the Quarterfinals in the C-USA Tournament.

UTEP failed to execute with 20 seconds remaining as Omega Harris was blocked at the rim for the potential go-ahead basket. The very next play, Marshall capitalized.

Marshall Forward Ryan Taylor drove past Hooper Vint for the layup and ultimately the game winning shot.

The Miners finished the year at 19-14 and with this loss, are now eliminated from the NCAA Tournament.
