NMSU women’s basketball team to play Arizona St. in Big Dance
LAS CRUCES – The New Mexico St. Aggies knew they would be in the Big Dance after winning the WAC women’s tournament title.
They simply didn’t know whom they would play or what seed they would be. Those questions were answered today.
The Lady Aggies were given the 15 seed in the Sioux Falls Region and will face off with the second-seeded Arizona St. Sun Devils on Friday at 5:30 MT.
Early projections had the Aggies seeded as high as a 13 or 14.
NMSU was given a 16 seed last year en route to a first-round loss to Maryland.
