UTEP tops TCU to advance to WNIT Elite 8

The Miners were Led by Jenzel Nash (20 points) , Cameasha Turner (20 points) and Starr Breedlove (21 points), as UTEP beat TCU 79-71 to advance to the WNIT Elite 8.

The Miners shot 50% from the floor and forced 16 turnovers which lead to an outburst in the second quarter, as they outscored the Horned Frogs 24-10 to enter the half up 7.

Utep will now face Oregon Monday at the Don Haskins Center, with a tip-off time at 7:05 p.m.
