School district may change study abroad program

Following the recent terrorist attack in Brussels, El Paso Independent School District may rethink their policy for allowing students to study abroad.

The school district says they are asking groups looking to study abroad to reconsider traveling at this time.

EPISD says they will weigh all warnings, including the Europe travel alert from the U.S. State Department, along with security concerns when making decisions on whether or not school groups will be allowed to travel abroad.
