Power back on in West El Paso/Upper Valley

The El Paso Electric Company confirms power is back on to the 4,700 customers who lost it Wednesday evening.

At 9:37, EPE tweeted: “#EPElectric crews restored power to customers in west El Paso. Cause of the outage is underinvestigation. Outage reported at 8:54 pm. ?#?besafe?.”

As ABC-7 reported live on ABC-7 at Nine on the CW and on kvia.com, the outage happened between I-10 & McNutt and between Redd Rd. & Artcraft.

Each household or business is listed as “one customer,” so there are likely a lot more than 4,700 people affected by this power outage.

ABC-7 is in contact with EPE and as soon as a caused of the outage is determined, we’ll update you at kvia.com, the kvia.com facebook page and @abc7breaking on Twitter.
