Chefs & Stars: Building a Meal Together fundraiser

olivas will be rolling up her sleeves for this year’s “chefs & stars fundraiser. ok– well she won’t necessarily be doing the cooking but she’s teaming up with chef norbert portillo– owner of ode brewery– for the competition. norbert will put together a salad that will go up against another local chef’s creation. all the proceeds benefit “rebuildin together el paso”– a non- profit that helps elderly, disabled or low-income homeowners make necessary repairs. denise caught up with her teammate to talk strategy: “our inspiration was …we’re not gonna give away all our details” the fundraiser is tomorrow at epic railyard event center. tickets are available. check out kvia.com– you’ll find a link to the event website where you help denise’s team raise the most money. thank you. let’s check out the roads.
