Bowling for Kids’ Sake attracts dozens
Dozens of people showed up for an afternoon of fun with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The 17th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser helped raised money for the local organization.
All money raised during Saturday’s event at Bowl El Paso stays in El Paso, and goes directly toward making and supporting matches of mentors to at-risk youth in the community.
The simple friendship with a mentor not only helps children stay in school, off drugs and away from gangs and violence, but it also boosts self-esteem, decreases depression and helps deal with bullying.
