Pedestrian killed on I-10 East near Clint
The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) confirmed via Twitter that a pedestrian struck on Interstate 10 Thursday morning has died.
It happened on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Clint around 6 a.m..
The freeway’s eastbound lanes were closed near mile marker 46 until the afternoon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says troopers are assisting the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
An ABC-7 crew member on the scene of the crash Thursday reported seeing a red mid-sized SUV with extensive damage to its front end. Officials have not identified the person who died.
