Couple killed in murder-suicide

An El Paso couple was killed in an apparent murder-suicide, according to police.

Police were called to the 4700 block of Loma Del Rey just before 7 P.M. after relatives of the couple were unable to reach them.

Police entered the home to find the bodies of two females with gunshot wounds. The Crimes Against Persons Unit was called to investigate and determined a 42-year-old woman killed her 29-year-old partner.

Police have yet to release the names of the women, pending notification of next of kin.
