Three people charged with DWI in separate incidents

The El Paso Police Department say three people were charged with DWI offenses, in three separate incidents on Wednesday.

The first arrest was reported at 9:46 p.m. in the 200 block of North Piedras. The man was arrested for his second DWI offense.

The second arrest was reported at 9:47 p.m. in the 6900 block of Delta. A driver was charged with his third or more DWI offense

The third arrest was reported at 9:52 p.m. in the 100 block of Resler. The female driver, whose blood-alcohol content was .15 percent was charged with DWI.

El Paso police have increased patrols for the holiday season and are on the lookout for people who are driving while intoxicated. Authorities recommend that those who drink plan a safe ride home.
