EPPD Motorcycle officer injured in Northeast El Paso collision

A motorcycle officer with the El Paso Police Department was injured Tuesday in a crash involving another police unit, a department spokesman confirms.

The motorcycle officer was rushed to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, police and fire department officials said.

The cause of the collision at Transmountain and McCombs in Northeast El Paso remains under investigation.

It is unclear if the motorcycle officer collided with the police unit, vice versa, or if a third vehicle was involved.
