Hit and run leaves one dead
Police say a man was killed Saturday night after being hit by a car on the 4500 block of Hercules Avenue.
Officials say the incident happened around 9 p.m. According to police, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene. Officials say the victim was not using a crosswalk when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
Special Traffic Investigations Unit is investigating the death. Investigators are asking anyone with information on the collision to call the STI at 915 212-4080 or Crime Stoppers at 915 566-8477.
