NMSU Women WAC champions and headed to NCAA Tournament

The NMSU women had already made history by advancing to their third-straight WAC Championship game for the first time in program history. The team also made the trip worthwhile as they topped Seattle U in the title game 63-48 and won their third straight title.

With this win, the Aggies clinched a berth to the NCAA Tournament. This wouldn’t have been possible without the WAC player of the year in Moriah Mack, as she poured in 18 points and shot 50% from the floor.

Tamera William also contributed a double double with a a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds, further solidifying the team’s postseason fate.

This WAC title win now marks the program’s 17th straight win as they are going dancing yet again.
