Gang Unit arrests suspect in Lower Valley skate park stabbing
Gang unit investigators arrested the teenager accused of stabbing a man at the skate park on the 500 block of North Carolina.
Police say Manuel J. Davila, 19, stabbed 28-year-old Julian Duarte March 4, 2017.
Davila was arrested March 9th in the 1800 block of Cypress.
Police charged him with “Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon” and booked him into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $50,141 bond.
Duarte, who suffered multiple stab wounds, was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Del Sol Medical Center.
The Gang Unit continues its investigation.
