EPCSO arrests man with 10 outstanding warrants

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man with 10 outstanding warrants late last week.

On Friday, March 17, EPSO deputies were called out to the 12900 block of Montana Ave. after reports of a man causing a disturbance.

When deputies arrived, they said Richard Garcia, 38, left the scene and deputies were unable to make contact with him.

Hours later, another report was made that Garcia returned to the same area. Deputies arrived in time and took him into custody.

Garcia was booked into the El Paso County Jail for Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Robbery, Kidnapping, Violation of a Protective Order, Burglary Habitation with Intent to Commit Another Felony, Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle, Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle, and three counts of Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant.
