Child hospitalized after “pool accident” in Far East El Paso

One child was taken to the hospital after a “pool accident” in Far East El Paso.

It happened around 4 P.M on the 12,000 block of Sun Flare.

Police dispatch tells ABC-7 they received calls about a possible drowning, but an El Paso Police officer on scene tells ABC-7 a child was taken to the hospital after a “pool accident.” The officer would not elaborate on what happened. It’s unclear how old the child is and why the child was hospitalized.
