Man hospitalized after vehicle hit pedestrian in Far East El Paso

A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a vehicle in Far East El Paso Sunday evening.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office tells ABC-7 a vehicle struck a pedestrian on I-10 East & Horizon around 9:30 p.m. I-10 East is currently closed to traffic.

Officials have not identified the man but say he is approximately 50-years-old.

Authorities say the vehicle struck the man after he walked onto the interstate.
