Police arrest 3 after drive-by-shooting at East El Paso house party

El Paso Police arrested three men in connection to a fight that led to the shooting on the East Side over the weekend.

Gang Investigators charged Darrell Maurice Allen, 35; and Ezequiel Martinez, 20, with Aggravated Assault. Both were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under $20,000 bonds.

Shawn Ezal Ramirez, 20, was booked for outstanding Class C and traffic warrants.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, police in East El Paso responded to a fight on the 12000 block of Sterling Mary.

Officers arrived and found a victim, sitting in a parked car outside of the residence, with a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators learned a fight broke out a house party. After the fight spread outside the residence, two vehicles drove by and fired shots in the direction of the party goers, police said.

Police said the investigation continues and additional arrests and charges are pending.
