Shots fired outside Northeast apartment complex, three arrested

Police arrested three suspects who allegedly fired shots outside a Northeast El Paso apartment complex.

Anthony Christian Vera, 26; Jose Sierra, 25; and Denise Elizabeth Hernandez, 30, are charged with “Discharge of a Firearm in a Municipality.”

Police responded to the shots fired call at an apartment complex at 5317 Woodrow Bean Trans Mountain at about 4:52 am Sunday.

Officers located Vera, Sierra and Hernandez inside an apartment unit, and with the help of the gang unit, identified them as the suspects who fired the rounds.

Police located the shell casings at the scene in addition to the weapon and ammunition, officials said.

All three suspects were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on bonds of $5,000 each.
