Labor Day closures in El Paso and Las Cruces

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, El Paso City Hall and all municipal offices will be closed on Monday, September 4.

City Hall will re-open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5 and the regularly scheduled City Council meeting will begin at 8 a.m.

The complete holiday schedule is posted on the Labor Day Closures banner at www.elpasotexas.gov.

City Hall and most other City of Las Cruces offices will be closed Monday, September 4, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Police and fire services will not be affected.

The following is a list of closures in Las Cruces:

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library
Sage Cafe Library and Munson Library
All museums
All senior centers
Visit Las Cruces
East Mesa Recreation Center
Meerscheidt Recreation Center
Frenger pool
Juvenile Citation Program
A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven & Programming
All RoadRUNNER Transit Services

The following will operate with modified or normal hours:

Frank O’Brien Papen Center Open from 8 a.m. to noon
Solid waste and recycling services will operate on a normal schedule.
Foothills Landfill normal Monday hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Aquatic facilities will operate as follows:

Regional Aquatic Center: Open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Open Swim: noon to 3 p.m. and 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Free Swim Day at Laabs Pool & East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool:
Open Swim: noon to 3 p.m. and 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
