Chihuahuas take down Redbirds 5-1; One win away from second straight PCL Championship Title

It was do-or-die for the El Paso Chihuahuas Saturday night at Southwest University Park.

Game 4 of the PCL Championship Series against the Memphis Redbirds.

Redbirds came into the game with the series lead at 2 games to one.

Memphis needed one more win to clinch the title.

In the end, the Chihuahuas took down the Redbirds by a final of 5 to 1.

The win forces a decisive game five Sunday night at Southwest University Park.

After losing the first two games in Memphis, the Chihuahuas have rallied since returning to El Paso, winning two games in a row to even up the series.

The Chihuahuas need just one more win to be crowned the 2017 Pacific Coast League Champions.

If they get the victory El Paso will be back-to-back PCL Champions.

Last year, El Paso won the title on the road, this year they have a chance to win it in front of the home crowd at Southwest University Park.

First pitch for the winner-take-all game is at 6:05 PM.
