Officials transporting man, 25, by helicopter from Silver City to UMC

A 25-year-old man is being transported by helicopter to University Medical Center from Silver City, NM to be treated for gunshot wounds, according to emergency dispatch.

Officials say the man has gunshot wounds to his forearm and abdomen and is in critical condition.
