Townsquare Media suspends part-time KLAQ DJ charged with DWI

Townsquare Media has suspended Jason Admire, a Promotions Technician and part-time DJ at radio station KLAQ.

Admire was arrested and charged with DWI Tuesday morning. Online jail records show Admire posted a $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Townsquare emailed ABC-7 the following statement: “As an active member of the El Paso community, Townsquare Media strongly condemns drinking and driving. In accordance with company policy, should an employee be found to have violated company policy, it will be grounds for disciplinary action up to and including termination.”

Townsquare said Admire is suspended “pending further investigation.”
