BREAKING: Toddler hospitalized after near-drowning in Horizon City
A toddler was hospitalized after a near-drowning in Horizon City.
Horizon’s fire chief tells ABC-7 the incident happened around 3:30 Saturday afternoon at a home on the 15,300 block of South Kenazo.
Officials say a two-year-old boy was found unresponsive by his parents. It’s unclear if the boy was in the pool when crews found him. Officials say the parents called 911 and were instructed to give the boy CPR, while waiting for first responders to arrive.
The boy was taken to UMC and is in critical condition.
