EPISD Chooses New Trustee
El Paso’s largest school district finally has a complete board of trustees. Mickey Loweree was announced as the newest episd trustee earlier today.
The PTA president was chosen out of three candidates vying to replace Dori Fenenbock’s seat, who resigned earlier this year to run for congress. EPISD’s superintendent Juan Cabrera says Loweree’s years of experience as a PTA president is a great asset.
He also says, “The key to success is the involvement with our parents and making sure they feel engaged with our schools and I think that vast amount of experience will be a tremendous help for the district.”
Loweree will represent the Coronado feeder pattern and says she will consider running again when her term ends in 2019.
