Aaron Jones out 3-6 weeks with knee injury
Just as former UTEP Miner Aaron Jones was finding his stride as the top running back for the Green Bay Packers, the unimaginable happened.
During Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Jones took a hit to his knee in the first quarter.
He was carted to the locker room and did not return to the game.
Monday, ESPN reported Jones will be out 3-6 weeks with an injury to his MCL.
The Packers have been plagued with injuries this season.
Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still recovering from a broken collarbone.
Jones’ injury comes at a time when he was leading the Packers offense in rushing yards.
Jones has rushed for 370 yards and 3 touchdowns.
