El Paso’s new soccer team holding tryouts this weekend

El Paso has a new soccer team coming to town, and they need players.

The El Paso Southwest F.C. Wolves are joining the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) – an amateur adult league focused on professional development.

Now, you have a chance to impress the club and join the team this weekend.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 6 and 7) at Dick Shinaut Park located at 11701 Rufus Brijalba. Tryouts begin at ten a.m. each morning and will last until around one p.m.

The tryouts will be open to players 16 and up. All players must pay a $35 fee to be able to audition for the club.
