EPPD: Juarez man using Craigslist to steal vehicles

The police department’s Auto Theft Task Force is warning the public about a wanted man believed to be armed and using Craigslist to steal vehicles.

31-year-old Pedro Saenz, of Juarez, Mexico, allegedly targets car sellers posting vehicles for sale on Craigslist, police said.

Saenz will contact potential victims and make arrangements to meet and see the vehicle for a test drive.

Victims are allegedly conned by Saenz, who is accused of stealing vehicles he takes on test drives.

In the most recent cas, Saenz was armed with a holstered gun when he met the victim, police said.

Saenz is currently wanted for three counts of felony theft.

Anyone with information on Saenz’s whereabouts is asked to call the EPPD at (915) 832-4400.
