NMSU remains perfect in WAC play, Aggies soar past the Seattle Redhawks 75-62

The NMSU Aggies were happy to finally be back home Thursday night.

After 37 days away from the comfort of the Pan American Center, the Aggies treated the home crowd to a 75-62 victory over WAC rival Seattle.

The win improves NMSU’s overall record to 16-3 and they remain a perfect 4-0 in WAC play.

The Aggies controlled the game from the very beginning going up 10-0 in the first few minutes of the game.

NMSU went into the half up by 15 points.

Seattle would make it a bit interesting in the second half cutting NMSU’s lead to 3 points, but that’s as close as the Redhawks would get as the Aggies never gave up the lead.

NMSU now turns its attention to a big Saturday afternoon showdown against Utah Valley.

The Wolverines will be coming into the Pan American Center on an 8 game win streak and just like the Aggies, Utah Valley is undefeated in conference play.

Tip-off is Saturday at 4 p.m..
