Tickets for three concerts on sale Friday morning
Fans of live music are in for a treat.
Tickets for three different musical acts coming to El Paso this spring go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Chicago is headed to the Plaza Theatre on March 28. According to the news release announcing the sale, Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has won two Grammy Awards and multiple American Music Awards. In addition, the group is among the founding artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has keys to and proclamations from a list of U.S. cities.
Tickets range from $50 to $90.
In addition, Gordon Lightfoot is headed to the Plaza on May 2 at 8 p.m.
Lightfoot was recently inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, which honored his role in defining the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and ’70s.
Tickets range from $46.50 to $86.50 and are subject to change.
Also, Indie folk band Fleet Foxes will come to the Abraham Chavez Theatre May 10 at 8 p.m.
Fleet Foxes’ self-titled debut topped numerous “best of” lists, including Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Albums of the 2000s and Pitchfork’s 50 Best Albums of 2008. The “Fleet Foxes” album is certified gold in North America and platinum in both the U.K. and Australia, according to the news release announcing the tour.
Tickets range from $25.50 to $59.50 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change.
