Coyote spotted near elementary school
El Paso police confirmed a coyote was spotted near an East El Paso elementary school.
Police told ABC-7 they received a report that a wild animal was spotted in the parking lot of Purple Heart Elementary School at 14400 GR Campuzano Drive, off of Rich Beem Boulevard.
Officers with the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center are currently searching the area with Animal Services officers.
An official with Purple Heart ES told ABC-7 that they have a “shelter in place” protocol in place until Animal Services gives them further notice.
