BREAKING: Good Samaritan helping crash victims gets hit by car, killed
Police say a good Samaritan checking on people involved in another crash was hit and killed when a passing car lost control on I-10 and Airway Saturday morning.
The crash happened on I-10 West, but the man’s body landed on I-10 East as a result of the collision.
Officials say the man died at the scene.
Two people in the car that hit the man were taken to the hospital.
ABC-7 crews at the scene said at least three cars were involved in the crash.
Traffic was backed up as a result of the crash.
