American Federation of Teachers Protest Damage of Family Separation

A diverse group of educators, human rights activists, faith leaders and civil rights activists brought together by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) gave passionate speeches promoting unity, and keeping families together.

The group then boarded yellow school busses and took an hour long trip to the detention centers located in Tornillo to hand out supplies like books, and clothing.

This rally focuses on the wide-spread fall out from President Trumps since overturned family separation policy.
